For over 26 years, Jim Schrader and Jim Broughton have been serving Northern Alabama. In 1981, both Schrader and Broughton began their own separate agencies. Then in 1990, they decided to merge into one powerhouse agency, Schrader-Broughton, Inc.

As independent insurance agents, they were each able to choose from an array of personal and commercial insurance plans to provide to individuals and businesses, but together they are able to choose from a larger range of options and plans.

Schrader-Broughton, Inc. is an active member of Alabama Independent Insurance Agents (AIIA), providing dependable individualized service to individuals, families and businesses all over Northern Alabama.

We are listed as Independent Insurance Agents for the state of Alabama and members of the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents. We offer products from Safeco Insurance and Travelers Insurance.
